We had the awesome opportunity to travel to Avon, Ohio to shoot a wedding of some dear friends (we love road trips)...the bride was gorgeous (and the groom was handsome as well)....here are a few pictures from their day:

We had the awesome opportunity to shoot Alli and Brad's engagement pictures. They are such a super cute couple and time seemed to fly while we were shooting. Both are so photogenic and before we knew it we had taken over 1,000 pictures!! Now we have to narrow them down and start the editing process, but here are a few to start with:

So technically, this wedding occurred before the Woodrum wedding, but hey, it's up here and that is what matters. :)

Daven and Jill had a destination wedding in Coco Beach, Florida. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Here are some pictures from their incredible day:

Woodrum Wedding

Okay, okay, it's been way too long since we posted on here. We have been super busy and have done several weddings, (which I need to post). But I am going to try to start doing better in posting our latest work, starting with this wedding. Enjoy! :)

We had the opportunity to capture Drew and Erika's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding from start to finish:

Okay, look closely and as everyone is praying you will find the ring bearer rolling on the floor during this time. You will also see his parent's (the best man and the bride's maid next to the flower girl) trying to keep a straight face. For 2 and a half he really did an excellent job! :)

Huseman Wedding

We went to Bluffton, IN last weekend to shoot a wedding (both video and photography). Doug and Christina are probably two of the nicest people I have ever met or worked with. Not only were they great, they are so much in love with each other and with life. Here are a couple of pictures I have just started editing, a more comprehensive group to come later...

I'm not a fan of desaturated backgrounds with colored subjects, I never really have been...so as I was editing this evening, my husband walked by and said, "hey I bet that picture would look great with the background desaturated..." Trying to prove him wrong, I quickly ran a desaturation brush over the background..but you know, I kind of liked it. So here it is...what do you think?

Krier Wedding

We had the opportunity to travel to NY to do the wedding video of a dear friend of ours, Jim Baker, who was really my mentor when it comes to photography. While there, we met Sheena Stropas, a photographer from CO who was photographing Jim's wedding and we were her assistants with the photos. I am soooooo excited. We went to Lousiville, KY today to get our new camera, the Canon 5D Mark ii. It is even more amazing than I could imagine, we went ahead and picked up a 24 - 70 mm lens (2.8f L ) With the little battery we had I took a couple of pictures...

I know this isn't reeeaaalllyy about photography, buuttttt...it could be!

The Lord is asking Seth and I to go back to Africa. I'm not sure where we will go, whether it is back to Kabula, or to somewhere new. We ran into a lady at Fairhaven church who was telling us about an organization called Into Abba's Arms, it brings in orphans and cares for them. I looked at the website and it really tugs at my heart. Perhaps we are to create a promotional video for them? I had an idea of taking pictures and creating a calendar to sell, with all proceeds going to ICODEI, but maybe here is where we will be?? I'm not sure, I just keep praying.....

I can't, can't, CAN'T wait until I get the new camera!! There is a video out that was shot entirely from the camera, an added bonus (it does shoot high def. video as well). Just think, being able to shoot video using a photography lens!! Seth is drooling at the possibilities. I'm hoping to have it by August 23, which is Jim Baker's wedding, and able to throw in some clips in his wedding video to test it out.
